Cash for Kids supports children and young people affected by poverty, abuse, neglect, life-limiting illness and those who have additional needs.

Based across 22 areas in the UK, at the heart of your favourite radio stations, they are a grant-giving charity helping community groups, other charitable organisations, schools and individual causes. They raised over £20.9 million across the UK in 2019, supporting more than a million children!

We donated £500 worth of toys to the scheme run by Radio Forth 1 in Edinburgh, tthe toys were delivered by Suzy Carter, the Business Development Regional Manager in Scotland and her family pictured here!

Cash for kids pushed extra hard this year to help children that need it most across Edinburgh, the Lothians, Fife and Falkirk this Christmas, after many families have forced into financial crisis and hardships due to lockdown restrictions.

“Thank you so much for your donations – we’re overwhelmed with the generosity we’ve seen!

We'll be working tirelessly over the next few days to make sure the gifts are distributed to local children in time for Christmas.”

The scheme is now closed for physical donations, but are still taking donation through their website below. If you are able to this Christmas, please think about giving what you can to help put a smile on every face Christmas morning.
