Dawdon Youth and Community Centre - Food Bank & Toy Appeal

Dawdon Youth and Community Centre serves the local community by offering high quality, free (or low cost) services and activities that improve people's quality of life. The Centre is open 79+ hours over 7 days, providing a welcoming place for 450+ individuals and groups, local residents of all ages, children and young people to meet each week.

We donated £1000 to the community centre, to help with both their toy appeal, and their food bank, to allow them to continue helping those from the local area in need over the holiday season.

Dawdon Youth Community Centre had to close their doors due to covid, but continued to function and support people through the hardships that lockdown created.

“It’s been a tough year for everyone and we’ve seen that with the increase in people within the community needing the support of the food bank to get by day to day. Your donations will mean we can continue to support those most vulnerable this Christmas. Thank you!”

Thomas, pictured on the left delivering the cheque had the following comments,

“It was a pleasure and a privilege to be able to make the donation on behalf of the company. It’s great to see A2F supporting great causes not only around the head office area but other the regions across the country also where our remote staff are based. Thank you to the Directors and staff who made it happen on behalf of the community this will support.”
